Meeting to explore development plans.
TAMARAC · The future of two golf courses and the prospect of new residential development will be the subject of a meeting at 7 p.m. tonight at the Tamarac Community Center, 8601 W. Commercial Blvd.The meeting is intended to offer residents information on the process of changing the city's land-use plan. The Monterey Golf Course and Sabal Palms Golf Course, both located near Commercial Boulevard and Florida's Turnpike, have been identified as possible sites for new housing.
Representatives from the potential developer, Prestige Homes, were expected to attend the meeting.
